Happy Monday! I hope that y’all had a good week last week and a fun filled weekend. I know I definitely did. While I forgot to take pictures of my outfits last week I do have weekend photos to share with y’all which I feel like I haven’t had many of lately.
The work week was pretty much the same when it came to student teaching and working out but I also had a cooler to complete for a fraternity formal I attended (more on that in a bit). Thursday night felt like the start of the weekend with a T.Pain concert on campus. I definitely don’t see Furman as his demographic but it was quite entertaining nonetheless!
The formal I went to this weekend was at Tybee Island. I had gone to the same one last year so it was nice to know what to expect and nice that a lot of the girls I am friends with were invited too. The weather was much nicer this year and we actually got to enjoy the beach weather instead off bear it last year in sweatshirts. Another fun thing that the fraternity did this year was have a bar for us to all go to on Friday night. My date and I couldn’t leave until later since I had to teach all day but we still made it in time for that!
The actual formal was really fun too. They had a great band so it was a dinner follower by a lot of dancing. Then, Sunday morning everyone got up and headed back to Furman.
My weekend ended with getting a bit of work done and then chapter. While I don’t feel as prepared as usual going into this week it was nice to completely step away from school work for a few days!
