Although I shared my goals for the year the other day I want to fully wrap up 2016 with one more post, and I think it’s one y’all will like. I love to hear other people’s go-to products, and since I haven’t been the best at sharing my monthly favorites I thought an end of the year version might just make up for that. It was definitely hard to think back to January of last year to come up with what items I loved most, then but after a lot of thought I think this list is pretty comprehensive. Originally I had planned to narrow it down to ten items in two different categories, beauty and fashion, I discovered that products and items would probably be better (albeit more general) names for them. I also decided that ten was just not enough to encompass my tried and true favorites for the year so with hopes of fully embracing 2017 and the fact that 17 is kind of a strange number I decided to put 17 things in each category despite the fact that these were highlights from 2016.
So here is the breakdown:
Products in this post are items I use daily or near daily more in a beauty or personal routine, and items will be things I am loving that I wouldn’t consider products (according to the definition above). I wanted y’all to see the method to my madness if you can call it that. Hopefully by including both of these categories in this post you may find a new favorite to kick off 2017!
