While I adore summer clothes sometimes it’s hard to justify purchasing cute new pieces since I won’t be able to integrate them as a part of my “professional” wardrobe. Although I am only going to be a senior in college I think that starting to find pieces that you can easily pair with other outfit essentials is an important task to start while shopping. This top combines those things so well while still being youthful and on trend for the season. I know I told you on Monday that you would be seeing a lot more pieces from H&M around here but I bet y’all didn’t assume it would be that quick. It also definitely won’t be the last you’ll be seeing! Seriously though, their pieces have been knocking it out of the park this summer and I am thrilled to see what they release come fall.
Before I get too ahead of myself I think that highlighting a few of my favorite parts about this top is necessary! For starters, I adore the embroidery around the neck and the fun tassel ties. The pale blue color makes the top look especially great with white jeans or shorts and the breathable material makes enduring the summer heat much more bearable! I would advise wearing a tank or something of that nature underneath since it is a bit sheer! Paired with tan accessories I know this is something I’ll be wearing non stop before summer ends although I definitely think that this shirt would work well for early fall too!
I am definitely soaking in these last few weeks of wearing white bottoms since they are a go-to for me in the summer. There is just something about them that looks so crisp. As my first week in my elementary school for this year comes to a close I am even more excited to have this top in my arsenal of “work appropriate” clothing since I am not used to having to dress the part everyday. Maybe by the end of week two that will get easier. Be sure to check out yesterday’s post (which was posted today as well…gotta love wifi issues)!
Hope y’all are having a great week!
