Flared in Fuscia

It is no secret that I love bright colors especially in the summer. Given the choice between a hot pink or a neutral and you can bet that I’ve chosen hot pink! This skirt was no different. I have a tendency to purchase a piece I love in just about every color and that is exactly how this fun flared skirt came into my closet. J.Crew and J.Crew Factory alternate in offering this flirty number and while unfortunately they don’t have it offered on either site currently (keep checking back though because that’s liable to change) it has allowed me to pick it up in numerous colors over the years. It’s a bit high waisted and perfectly flattering when paired with a variety of different tops.

I wore this exact outfit to my cousins graduation last month and knew that wouldn’t be the last time I’d wear it. This semi cropped textured shirt has also proven to be a closet staple this past winter and now even into the summer. It has gotten so much wear in fact that I purchased in in black as well and while I’ve worn the white more frequently both are great essentials to keep in your closet! And these wedges can’t go without mention either as they may just be the most comfortable wedges I’ve worn AND they match everything. If you’re looking for good shoes for fall recruitment I have lots of friends that have made it through long days of standing in these with no complaints!
