Woohoo, I made it through the last few days of school! This is definitely worthy of celebration! It is insane to think that the next time I go to class I will be a second semester Junior! While this week contained a lot of studying for finals I am happy to say that one of those finals is out of the way and I don’t want to jinx myself but I think the studying paid off!
Before all of that studying though, my sorority had its winter formal which was my first event as president. Although I had a lot to do that night to ensure that everything was going smoothly I had a great time and have some even better stories. Some of the girls in my pledge class all took guys from the same fraternity and pledge class which was so fun since we were all able to hangout as a group before and after the event. Presidency is already teaching me a lot and I know that I still have a lot to learn. I have also realized that it is a lot easier to control kindergarteners than it is college kids, take my word for it on that one! Here are some pictures from the event.
I was set on wearing some sort of green dress and found mine on sale at bluefly. For any of you looking for a great dress perfect for winter events it is from the brand 4.collective and also comes in black and gold although I am partial to the green. I wore it with these black heels and loved the way the two looked together.
Then it was full force into the last two days of school. I had a lot of assignments that still needed to be turned in and field work at schools both of these mornings so it was nice to have Wednesday “off” as a study day. Here are a couple of photos from my last days in the classroom with my kindergarten and second grade classes, they will be missed!
When I finally come back from the library and studying late at night I have found myself constantly reaching towards these Christmas pajamas! Both of which are on sale!
Aside from the things previously mentioned I don’t feel like I’ve done anything monumental this week. I mean, I did spend 12 hours in the library on Wednesday studying but I didn’t feel the need to document that with photos. Our apartment looks nice and festive and I’ve consumed a whole lot of coffee but aside from that there will be a whole lot of studying between today and my last exam on Tuesday!
Hopefully next week will look a bit more exciting since I’ll be home. Also, I am hoping to get LOTS of posts up to make up for all the days I missed so be sure to check back frequently and scroll to make sure you don’t miss anything!
