Going back to school always comes with a bit of shopping if you’re anything like me! This year it wasn’t so much about shopping for clothes as it was for shopping for apartment supplies. Now that I am feeling settled (pictures of my room and apartment to come super soon) I finally felt like I could stock up on a few versatile clothing pieces to propel me into the next season.
I went to Marshalls to check out all of their home pieces as many of my friends had had success at the one in our area and was absolutely floored by all of the great home decor and clothing they had to offer. Marshalls has high quality brand name and designer fashions and home decor at incredibly affordable prices to head back to school in style. I spent an hour and a half lusting over all of the great home decor finds and heading back and forth to the dressing room trying on so many great pieces. And I didn’t even tempt myself with the beauty and handbag area!
I left with four great brand name clothing pieces and a couple of essentials for my apartment. I am already planning to head back to finish accessorizing our living room with all of the cute wall art and throw pillows they had!
This grey dress is so comfortable and versatile for fall and winter activities from student teaching to pin days to tail gates and my friends are already asking to borrow it!
I have been living in this black and white striped sweater when it has been a bit chillier in the morning and at night. It is so soft and was over 50% off!
This black and white dress is perfect for just about everything and will quickly become a staple in my wardrobe. Although I gravitated towards neutrals and more fall worthy pieces but was so tempted to snag all of the bright colored summer pieces that were on sale. If you’re looking for brand name jeans check out Marshalls before you head to department stores since they had tons of styles, colors, and brands!
